Job summary:


The House of KOKO, a luxury members' club spanning four floors, including a rooftop dining space, cocktail bars, a piano lounge, and a hidden speakeasy, is seeking an engaging, service-driven Waiter to deliver world-class hospitality and create memorable guest experiences.


As a Waiter, you will be at the forefront of guest interactions, ensuring seamless service, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a refined yet personable approach. You will work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an immersive dining and bar experience, ensuring that every guest feels valued, engaged, and eager to return.


With a genuine passion for hospitality, a proactive mindset, and a keen eye for detail, you will play a key role in shaping the atmosphere and energy of the club, making every service moment polished, dynamic, and on-brand.

Role & Responsibilities:


- Deliver impeccable and engaging service, ensuring every guest interaction is seamless, personalised, and welcoming.

- Create a vibrant and immersive atmosphere, setting the tone for a memorable and elevated experience.

- Anticipate guest needs with an intuitive and proactive approach, exceeding expectations at every opportunity.

- Maintain floor presence and energy, ensuring service remains polished, efficient, and aligned with the club’s ethos.

- Work closely with bar, kitchen, and floor teams to provide a smooth and cohesive guest experience.

- Identify opportunities to elevate guest experiences and drive revenue through personalised recommendations and upselling premium offerings.

- Ensure all areas are fully set and ready for service, aligning with brand expectations and operational standards.

- Support in coordinating reservations and table service, ensuring a smooth and seamless guest flow.

- Monitor guest interactions, floor activity, and service delivery, stepping in proactively to resolve challenges.

- Assist with service process improvements, working with management to optimise guest satisfaction and efficiency.

- Work alongside senior team members to uphold high service standards, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and teamwork.

- Contribute to ongoing training and service development, ensuring consistency and best-in-class execution.

- Lead by example with a positive, solutions-driven attitude, inspiring colleagues to strive for excellence.

- Uphold health, safety, and licensing compliance in all areas of service, ensuring a safe and professional environment.

- Maintain venue policies, guest protocols, and service expectations, ensuring precision and consistency at all times.

- Work alongside management to uphold quality control, from presentation to guest engagement.


About You


- Minimum 1+ years’ experience as a Waiter in a luxury hospitality, members' club, or high-end dining environment.

- Dynamic and personable, with a natural ability to connect with guests and enhance their experience.

- A strong understanding of food, wine, and cocktails, with a passion for continuous learning.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effortlessly with guests, members, and the team.

- A team player, eager to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive and high-energy service environment.

- A keen eye for detail, ensuring service delivery remains precise, polished, and on-brand.

- A commercial mindset, understanding how to elevate experiences and enhance guest spending through thoughtful recommendations.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and high-profile events.
