Since their inception, KOKO Electronic has hosted everyone from Jungle, Madlib, Dixon, Marco Carola, Uncle Waffles, Kaytranada, Jyoty, The Blessed Madonna, Kerri Chandler, Francis Mercier, Groove Armada, Armand Van Helden and many more.


Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, data-driven, and strategic Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to lead and assist the development and execution of our content and social media strategies. This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, community-building, and performance marketing.


You'll be responsible for growing our online presence, strengthening our brand voice, and delivering measurable business outcomes through compelling content and social engagement.


The successful candidate is passionate about music and culture, with an interest and awareness of the latest electronic music and cultural trends.

Role & Responsibilities

Content & Marketing Strategy & Planning Support

  • Support the development and delivery of quarterly content strategies for KOKO Electronic.
  • Maintain and coordinate a detailed content calendar, ensuring all posts, campaigns, and deliverables are organised and on schedule.
  • Monitor platform trends and cultural moments, highlighting relevant opportunities to the Lead Promotions Manager.


Content Creation & Publishing

  • Assist in creating and producing high-quality content across KOKO Electronic’s social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Coordinate and schedule weekly content posts, including drafting copy, preparing assets and ensuring all content meets brand standards.
  • Adapt content for different platforms to maximise engagement and reach.
  • Provide strong copy support, adjusting tone and messaging to suit platform, audience, and campaign objectives.


Social Media Management

  • Manage day-to-day posting and scheduling for KOKO Electronic’s channels.
  • Monitor conversations and engage with the online community by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions, in alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Stay informed on best practices across relevant platforms and share insights that may strengthen channel performance.


Performance Reporting & Analytics

  • Track and measure performance across all KOKO Electronic channels using analytics tools (paid & organic)
  • Prepare weekly KPI updates and assist with sharing insights to inform content optimisation.
  • Submit a monthly performance report summarising key metrics, trends, and recommendations.


Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work with internal teams, including Marketing, Music, Operations and Design to ensure clear alignment across campaigns and projects.
  • Brief creative teams (design, video, freelancers) on required assets, ensuring instructions are clear and deadlines are communicated.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for campaigns, content themes, and creative concepts.
  • Contribute creative ideas with promotional managers for brand strategy, growth and ticket sales.


Asset & Content Administration

  • Organise and manage imagery, selects, and approved content libraries to ensure efficient access for campaigns.
  • Coordinate updates for digital screens and on-site assets related to KOKO Electronic, ensuring timely proofing, production, and installation.
  • Support wider marketing processes as needed to ensure smooth campaign delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a social media, digital content, or marketing role, ideally within music, nightlife, culture or entertainment.
  • A portfolio of previous work (social posts, campaigns, short-form content or creative samples) demonstrating your skills and style.
  • Strong copywriting ability, with confidence adapting tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms.
  • A detail-oriented approach, ensuring accuracy, consistency and high standards across all content and tasks.
  • Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines.
  • Basic video creation or editing skills (e.g., Reels, TikTok, Shorts) are highly desirable.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset, curiosity about digital trends and a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
