Job Summary


The Senior Membership Acquisition Manager at KOKO plays a key role in growing and evolving our member community. This is a strategic yet hands-on role, one that blends commercial focus with cultural understanding and an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships.


With a particular focus The House of KOKO membership acquisition and supporting Luminary Member account management, you’ll bring together commercial drive and cultural understanding to identify, engage and convert exceptional prospects into long-term advocates of the brand.


Working closely with the Director of Membership and collaborating across Marketing, Events, Programming and Member Experience, you will lead acquisition projects, develop a robust pipeline of opportunities and manage key accounts. Acting as both a sales driver and brand ambassador, you champion KOKO's offering, enhance member engagement and help deliver a world-class membership strategy


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver membership acquisition strategies, driving individual and corporate membership growth in line with company targets.
  • Build and maintain a dynamic pipeline of qualified leads through strategic networking and targeted outreach.
  • Strengthen retention through proactive account management and personalised engagement initiatives, identifying at-risk members early and implementing tailored solutions to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key members and corporate partners, ensuring a personalised and high-quality engagement experience.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Membership teams to design and execute conversion funnels, campaigns and digital acquisition initiatives.
  • Report on performance metrics including pipeline activity, lead conversion and retention insights to inform ongoing strategy.
  • Oversee CRM accuracy and functionality within the membership function, ensuring data integrity and efficient reporting.
  • Support Luminary-level membership engagement, working with Events and Programming teams to curate tailored experiences and enhance community connection.
  • Partner with Private Events and Partnerships teams to maximise commercial opportunities through member-led initiatives and collaborations.
  • Act as an ambassador for KOKO, representing the brand at internal and external events, cultivating relationships that strengthen KOKO’s cultural network.
  • Contribute to developing concierge-style services and touchpoints that enhance the premium member experience.


About you

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or membership growth, ideally within cultural, members-led hospitality or luxury sectors.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and maintain long-term connections.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding commercial and engagement targets.
  • A pro-active, member-centric approach to acquisition and retention.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and leveraging data for decision-making and personalisation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • A genuine passion for culture, creativity, hospitality and for connecting people and ideas in meaningful ways.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and events, as required by the role
